GRIT Rally

The GRIT Rally was great. From the speakers to the music (of course). I had the chance to play the bass in the GRIT Band on May the 5th. Ill tell you, what an honor to play with fine musicians.

The band included, Anthony Frazier(lead singer, and acoustic guitar), Barry Little(Lead Guitar), Brian Miller(Drums), Alex Pruszenski(Acoustic Guitar, and back up voice), two fine youn men(one singing, and one playing the sax) forgive because i dont know there names, and me(bass guitar).

The speekers were great. Jeff Smith was an awsome, awesome speeker. He had so many weird but to the point examples. He used music and coriography to tell the story and give the message. He used me as an example in two of his speaches.

In the fist one he called me "Sunshine" because of my yellow pollo shirt. Anthony thought that this was really funny so the rest of the morning he called me "Sunshine"." The wages of sin is death", was the topic of his speach and i had to go out and save people for God and send them to the church. When they got to the church the met the pastor the pastor then sent them back out to save more people. while we were saving people the devil was getting to people faster than we were, and they were going to hell.(not good) In the end we had more people saved and in heaven than there were in hell.(good thing)

In the second example he was telling the story of David and Galiath. Rob Parsons a good friend of mine was David and some other guy was Galiath. And..... I was the the prop boy. i had to be a sack of grain, a rock, armor, and a sword. yeah you could say that was fun. Rob had to throw me over his shoulder, swing me around in circles, and through me at the other guy.

I hope to be in he GRIT band next year or at least atend next years GRIT rally so i can have yet another great time and experience with a room full of Christian men, and all the wonderful speakers tell the testimonies and speak to us.
